Our Story

Founded on Compassion, Driven by Purpose

Fernhill Foundation (Scotland) Ltd was born from a simple observation: the gap between those who want to help and those who desperately need support is often just a matter of connection and trust.

Our founder, Dr Mohamed Anwar, witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by vulnerable communities both in Scotland’s urban centres and in developing nations abroad. He saw elderly neighbours struggling to afford food, children denied education due to poverty, and entire communities without access to clean water.

Rather than accepting these realities, he took action. Along with Saeed Khan, they established Fernhill Foundation with a commitment to radical transparency and direct impact. They are very passionate about ensuring that every single penny donated reaches those in need.
