Where Your Money Goes
We believe in complete transparency. Our commitment to you is simple; 100% of your donation is spent on the cause you choose.
100% Direct-to-Cause Donation Policy
Fernhill Foundation operates a 100% donation policy. All donations are used solely for the delivery and service of our projects, under the guidance of the Scottish Charity Commission (OSCR) to ensure compliance with Scottish charity law.
Administrative costs are covered only by donations specifically designated for administration. These funds are held in a separate account to ensure that the 100% donation policy is strictly maintained.
Gift Aid
Where applicable, UK taxpayers can increase the value of their donation by 25% through the UK government’s Gift Aid scheme. Any Gift Aid collected is prioritised to cover administration costs. If Gift Aid exceeds these costs, the surplus is allocated to our general fund for humanitarian relief.
This approach ensures that 100% of donations made to support projects go directly to those in need, while administrative expenses are fully transparent and separately funded.
